Instrumental guitar duo from Baltimore. Ecstatic Sunshine is Matthew Papich and Dustin Wong and their respective guitars, unspooling beautiful electric instrumentals that shimmer, bend, twirl, spazz out, float, transcend the earthly plane, and then come in for a hard landing. Is it folk? Is it pop? Is it indie-rock? It's hard to say, but when you have two Tom Verlaines in your band, you don't really have to answer anyone's annoying questions about genre.
