Eluvium- Similes (2010)

Matthew Cooper's first Eluvium release since 2007. Expect the endorphin-releasing, earth-orbiting ambient jams you know and love from this Temporary Residence staple, only with a new twist. There's a lot of percussion and even minimal vocals. Cooper, like previous work, wrote, performed and recorded the entire album in his own studio, Watership Downs. If you enjoyed previous Eluvium records, you won't need a whole lot of convincing to get on board here. And if you're unfamiliar, but are a fan of the Temporary Residence catalog (Explosions in the Sky, etc.), do yourself a favor and be prepared to expand your playlist for when you're floating in space.
